Just this Thursday the New England Patriots officially announced that they signed their 2022 fourth-round selection, Jack Jones, to a 4-year deal worth $4.4 million with $747,000 in signing bonuses.
Most NFL fans wouldn’t care about an unproven fourth-round pick being signed; however, Jack Jones has showed a lot of potential in OTAs and minicamp with the Patriots.
Mark Daniels, a Patriots writer for the Providence Journal, tweeted this out a few days ago following his viewing of the Patriots minicamp:
The Patriots coaching staff certainly took notice to the outstanding performance from Jones, which then prompted them to sign him to the reported deal just a day later.
Could Jack Jones potentially be the diamond in the rough the Patriots need in the secondary? After all, the Patriots are no strangers to finding successful players in the later rounds….
