Patrick Beverley’s Antics Were On Full Display Against The Lakers

LeBron James came off the bench for the second time in his career but the Los Angeles Lakers fell to the surging Chicago Bulls, 118 to 108.

James, who missed the past month due to a nagging foot injury, decided to play against Zach Lavine and the Bulls. He was a surprise participant in the game as many analysts expected him to miss the rest of the season or most of it.

But former Laker guard Patrick Beverley clearly has a personal vendetta against the Lakers throughout the game. His antics trended on Twitter today. A few days ago, he expressed his displeasure with his time with the Lakers during the first half of the season.

The Bulls are playing great since they claimed Beverley in the buyout market and the spitfire defensive stalwart continues to elevate the game of his Chicago teammates. They were considered an afterthought in the East but things are clicking for them lately and they are poised to become a threat in this year’s playoffs.

The loss didn’t affect much on LA’s standing in the West but they are determined to avoid the play-in and secure a playoff berth before the regular season ends a couple of weeks from now.
