Patrick Beverley Got Roasted On Twitter For Celebrating The Wolves Play- In Win Last Night Like They Won The Championship But He’s Exactly What The NBA Playoffs Need

If you stayed up last night until the sun was about to rise and it was almost time for your alarm to go off to start todays work day, the Play-In game between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Los Angeles Clippers was ELECTRIC TV. This game had it all. Young up and coming stars going shot for shot, an insane crowd in Minnesota, and even a strange woman trying to glue herself to the court.

The showman Pat Beverley stole the show though, despite only scoring 7 points. His swarming and relentless defense had Wolves fans at the Target Center energized and off the rails the entire night and ultimately led the Wolves to their second playoff berth since 2004. Hell, he even nearly baited Marcus Morris into picking up his second technical foul of the game by having a slapping contest with him during a jump ball.

Then came the post game antics. Pat Bev celebrated the win against his former team, who he absolutely hates and holds resentment for, like he won game 7 of the NBA Finals. The man is getting absolutely roasted on Twitter.

Even still this morning Beverley is getting clowned all over social media, but the man is an entertainer and a top notch showman. This is what the NBA playoffs NEED. A guy who busts his ass, is passionate, and talks shit about his opponents like he’s cutting a WWE promo. With star players being hurt and missing time like Luka, Steph, Kawhi, etc. this is exactly what the 2022 playoffs need.

This dude is just a player who you absolutely hate if he’s playing against your team, but if he’s on your team you love him. It’s going to be a blast watching him try to get under Ja Morant and the Memphis Grizzlies skin in the first round of the playoffs.

Oh and Pat Bev most likely will have more antics and shenanigans coming because he was originally traded from the Clippers to the Grizzlies. He was only on the roster for 9 days before the Grizzlies shipped him off to Minnesota for a plate of nachos and a Coors Light.

Do your thing Pat Bev.
