The Green Bay Packers and New York Jets have agreed to the mega-trade, sending 4-time MVP QB Aaron Rodgers to the Jets for major compensation.

The Jets get Aaron Rodgers, pick No. 15, a 2023 5th-rd pick (No. 170).

The Packers get Pick No. 13, a 2023 2nd-rd pick (No. 42), a 6th-rd pick (No. 207), a conditional 2024 2nd-rd pick that becomes a 1st if Rodgers plays 65 percent of the plays.

Rodgers joins a Jets team with a top-five defense and is loaded with skill position players. This instantly makes them a force in the AFC East.

The Jets offense features the offensive rookie of the year WR Garrett Wilson and RB Breece Hall, whose rookie year was cut short due to an ACL injury.

The Jets also signed former Packers WR and one of Rodgers’ favorite weapons, Allen Lazard, to a four-year deal this offseason.

The new offensive coordinator, Nathaniel Hackett, was Rodgers’ former OC in Green Bay from 2019 to ’21.
