Packers Get Win Over Browns After Refs Missed Holding Call by DB Rasul Douglas (Video)

Written by Nate

Listen, we all seen and know that Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield had a rough game with all those interceptions, but the fourth one of his should not have counted.

Much dismay to their NFC North rivals, the Green Bay Packers escaped with a narrow 24-22 win on Christmas Day over the Browns, but how it ended is causing some controversy.

In the video below by NFL’s Warren Sharp, Packers defensive back Rasul Douglas was seen holding Browns wide receiver Donovan Peoples-Jones a couple times which helped him get the fourth interception of Baker Mayfield to seal their win over Cleveland.

Surprisingly, this is allegedly the first time all season that Green Bay won with the help from the officials. A vast improvement from back in 2019, when the majority of their wins came from hell from the officials.

Such controversial events that happened bakc then include the botching ‘hands to the face’ call to Detroit Lions defensive end Trey Flowers. The call on Monday Night Football then should’ve went to Packers offensive tackle David Bakhtiari.

At least this season for Green Bay, they have not had trends in which they had sightings of refs helping them out. Let’s hope after this game, it does not happen often.

Fans will need to keep a sharp eye on Green Bay in the playoffs when the referees are there, especially at their home stadium. There will be some sort of fishiness going on then, and some can smell it from afar.
