Absolutely amazing. Is there anything better in this world than seeing shit just explode into a million pieces???? I can’t think of one myself honestly.

I do recall my father being a little emotional whenever Cowboys Stadium in Irving was demolished, but I acclaim that to the Cowboys being a fucking wagon in that stadium as he grew up. Unlike Oregon State who just lives in the giant shadow casted onto them from the fellas in Eugene.

The University ultimately decided that this demolition was needed because of renovations happening to the school in 2023. Which in all reality I couldn’t give less than 2 shits about. I just wanted to see things go up in smoke that shouldn’t.

I know this is making me sound like a war tyrant but don’t get my words twisted, I just want to see old buildings/stadiums get blown up (in a controlled fashion) at least once a month.

It really does fucking suck that it’s only the west half of the stadium, but I’ll take it. Blowing shit up is just American. We see an old building think, “How do we get rid of this thing in the most badass way possible?” and BOOM explosions.

The Japanese do have a kind of sick way to get around the demolition of these stadiums by just making them into neighborhoods.

Very cool what the city of Osaka did here taking something old and making it awesome. If America did this I’d 10000% be on board, but for now let’s stick to blowing shit up.
