Oregon Ducks QB Bo Nix throws 6 touchdown passes in 49-13 victory over Arizona State and is solidifying his status as the front-runner for the Heisman Trophy.
Nix completed 24 of 29 passes for 404 yards to go along with the six touchdowns. All of those touchdowns came in the first half.
Going into today’s game, Nix was already the favorite to win the award, and today’s performance is making his case stronger.
For the season, Nix has completed 77.7% of his passes for 3,153 yards with 29 touchdowns and just two interceptions.
Oregon is 10-1 on the season and ranked No. 6. They have a big matchup next week against No. 11 Oregon State in the rivalry game known as Civil War.
