Official: Baker Signs With Miami Dolphins; Will Tua Tagovailoa Be The Backup?

Written by Chris Powers

The endless Baker Mayfield drama in the NFL may soon be coming to an end. It seems like all we have heard about on a near daily basis for the past two months is the saga going on with the Cleveland Browns, DeShaun Watson and Baker Mayfield. Ever since the Browns signed DeShaun Watson, the question has remained as to where Mayfield will end up.

The Carolina Panthers seem like the most realistic option, with the Seattle Seahawks being a close second. Many seem to think we could see an end to the Mayfield drama this weekend during the NFL Draft. Only time will tell where we see Mayfield end up by the start of the 2022 NFL season.

In other NFL news, In other NFL news, and we are very late on reporting this, but Jerome Baker, a linebacker for the Miami Dolphins signed a three year deal with the Dolphins organization back in June of 2021 that will likely keep him with the organization through 2024. More specifically, Baker signed a three-year, $39 million contract extension with the Dolphins on June 13, 2021. The assumption is also that Tua Tagovailoa will be the starting quarterback at the beginning of the NFL 2022 season.
