Odell Beckham Jr “not on” the Cleveland Browns; told to stay home by the team.

The working relationship between the Cleveland Browns and Odell Beckham Jr may be coming to an end very soon.

Cleveland Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski has reportedly told players that Beckham is essentially not on the team and is being told to stay home.

This comes after Beckham apparently reporting to practice ready to go and was told to leave by the team.

This could all be the result from Odell’s father posting things on social media that took shots at Baker Mayfield for not getting the ball more to him.

Beckham is having a down season for Cleveland and was reported to being on the trade block, although he was not traded on Tuesday’s 4pm deadline. The 28-year-old receiver has just 17 catches for 232 yards and no touchdowns in 2021.

It’ll be curious to see how this plays out and if Beckham is told to stay home for the rest of the season and then either released or traded in the off-season by the Browns.

Beckham was acquired by the Browns in a trade from the New York Giants back in March of 2019.
