Notre Dame defeated Central Michigan 41-17 and now ready for the big showdown with Ohio State.

On the first play from scrimmage for the Fighting Irish, Hartman connected with WR Tobias Merriweather for a 75-yard touchdown and Notre Dame never looked back.

Notre Dame QB Sam Hartman completed 16-of-26 passes for 330 yards and three touchdowns. He also had a rushing touchdown.

The Notre Dame running attack was led by Audric Estime. He rushed for 176 yards on 20 carries with one touchdown.

Besides Merriweather, Hartman connected with touchdown passes to Chris Tyree and Holden Staes.

Notre Dame now hosts Ohio State in South Bend for a big Week 4 showdown. The Fighting Irish are looking to avenge last season’s opening game loss to the Buckeyes in Columbus.
