North Carolina’s Antoine Green Becomes Detroit’s Last 2023 NFL Draft Pick

Written by Nate

To wrap up their 2023 NFL Draft weekend, the Detroit Lions spent their last pick in the seventh round at #219 on North Carolina wide receiver Antoine Green.

After spending the last five seasons as a Tar Heel and at ECU, Green comes to Detroit to help solidify the Lions receiving core and provide depth in his position. He also is selected to fill a void left by Jameson Williams, who has been suspended six games for violating the league’s gambling policy.

Along with the aforementioned Williams, Antoine will join up with Marvin Jones Jr, Amon-Ra St Brown, Kalif Raymond, Josh Reynolds and tight ends James Mitchell, Brock Wright, Shane Zylstra and fellow Lions draft pick Sam LaPorta as premier weapons for quarterback Jared Goff in Detroit.

And now with the Lions’s draft weekend finally over, here’s what the draft picks look like after the pick of Green:
