The Cavs came into the game without their leader, Collin Sexton against the Bulls. That wasn’t an issue tonight thanks to Darius Garland and Jarrett Allen. Both led the team in scoring. Garland has slowly made another step in his NBA career and is one of the more underrated players in the league. Garland had an up and down rookie season last year with a lot of growing pains. Over the last few weeks, Garland has done nothing but ball out.
Tonight in the Cavs win over the Bulls, Garland went for 22/4/9 on 66% from three and a plus 14 while on the court. People were already writing this man off last season as a bust when he is only 21 years old and hasn’t played a full season of NBA basketball. Garland still has a long way to go but he’s taking big steps in just his second year.
