Nike announced via dailysole.com that the famous sports shoe brand is rolling out the Kobe 5 Protro ‘Big Stage’ shoes in honor of the fallen NBA and Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant, who died in the Calabasas helicopter crash along with his daughter and seven others Sunday.
The 5 on the shoe is signified for Bryant’s five NBA titles he has won in his career, all with the Lakers.
The colors on the shoe are mainly consisted of white/metallic, black and gold. The shoes will likely be available in pairs in black and white upon release.
Known as the code: CT8014-100, the Nike Kobe ‘Big Stage’ shoes are expected to be sale online starting on Friday, February 7. The cost is set for $180.
