NFL Rumors: Pittsburgh Steelers working on a trade for Deshaun Watson?

Written by Doug Rush

Deshaun Watson has been rumored to being traded this off-season and with his legal issues still ongoing, the Houston Texans want to move him.

The Carolina Panthers are reported to be interested. Another team could be moving into the mix in the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Steelers are in need of a quarterback with the retirement of Ben Roethlisberger after 17 years in the NFL.

Pittsburgh does have the 20th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft and have been linked to being interested in drafting a quarterback.

But if they are pursuing Watson in a trade, they could forgo the possibility of drafting one and take Watson off the hands of the Texans.

The only question remains; what is Houston looking for in a possible deal? And will the Steelers actually take the plunge and go for Watson?
