We already knew of two trade suitors for Deshaun Watson. Now, there’s a third one entering the chase.
The Cleveland Browns are set to meet with Watson to discuss a potential trade.
The Browns have Baker Mayfield who had a down season, but the Browns are at least interested in switching up their quarterback situation with their interest in Watson.
If the Browns and Texans were to make a possible deal, Cleveland would have to include Mayfield in the trade. The Browns 13th overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft would likely have to be involved as well.
On Monday, the New Orleans Saints and Carolina Panthers also met with Watson as well and submitted trade proposals.
