NFL Network And Comcast Reach New Agreement

Written by Tony Ghaul

Comcast subscribers will be able to view the NFL Network. The cable company said Tuesday morning in a statement that there is a new carriage agreement. The old one expired Monday.

Less than 24 hours after going dark, because the programming agreement expired, the channel has returned for cable customers.

The matter appears to have been resolved after a discussion at the highest levels of both companies, as NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Comcast CEO Brian Roberts spoke by phone on Monday afternoon.

This good news for NFL fans. Football is the number one sport in the U.S. and the NFL Network is very important to fans.

The NFL is expected to announce its regular-season schedule on May 11.
