Football legend John Madden died unexpectedly this morning at the age of 85. Madden won Super Bowl XI as head coach of the Oakland Raiders and then went on to be the color commenter in the broadcast booth for all four major networks, having one of the most recognizable voices in all of sports.
Madden is obviously also well known for the long running Madden NFL video game series, which has been named after him since 1988.
John Madden was the ultimate football guy and had an enormous impact on the game of football. RIP to an absolute legend.
