This week is the 2022 NFL Draft Combine in Indianapolis, and one notable prospect was caught doing a good deed in the city.
Via a tweet by user Ryan Lacey, draft prospect and former Liberty University quarterback Malik Willis was seen on video giving out clothes or blankets to a homeless person that was sitting on a milk carton in Indianapolis.
You can see in the video clip below that Willis was reaching and giving the person a piece of clothing or a towel that only had an older jacket and briefcase with them at the time.
NFL general managers and scouts typically look for overall talent, highlight tapes and physique when they are looking to pick players, but character and attitude also needs to be evaluated. And judging by the video, Willis should be at the tops when it comes to the ‘good guy’ type off the field.
There are a few teams that do need a quarterback in this year’s draft, but hopefully someone shows GMs this clip, they could pick Willis at No. 1 if they wanted to.
