New York Jets Sign Veteran Linebacker to 1-Year Deal

Written by ASAPWylie

New York Jets sign Veteran linebacker Kwon Alexander to one year deal. The signing reunites Alexander with Jets head coach Robert Saleh, who was his Defensive Coordinator with the 49ers during the 2019 and 2020 Seasons.

Alexander now becomes the 4th defensive player who played for Robert Saleh in San Francisco to join the Jets since the end of last season. The others being Harris, Solomon Thomas and D.J. Reed.

Last season Alexander suffered a torn Achilles tendon in Week 16 but still managed to finish with some pretty impressive numbers. Playing in 12 games with 50 tackles, 3.5 sacks, an interception and a forced fumble. Bring only 27 years old this is a very good signing for a Jets team trying to compete in a tough division.
