New York Jets Quarterback Play Is Awful In Loss To The Buffalo Bills

Written by Tony Ghaul

The New York Jets quarterback play has been awful all season, but it hit rock bottom yesterday.

Since losing starting QB Aaron Rodgers a few plays into the 2023 season with a torn Achilles, the Jets play at the quarterback position has been brutal.

Zach Wilson proved once again that he’s not capable of being a starting QB. He may not even be capable backup either.

Wilson completed 7-of-15 passes for 81 yards with a touchdown and an interception in the Jets 32-6 loss to the Buffalo Bills.

Jets Head Coach Robert Saleh had refused to bench Wilson all season, until yesterday when he replaced him with Tim Boyle.

Boyle was actually worse than Wilson. He completed just 7-of-14 passes for 33 yards with no touchdowns and an interception.

The best pass by the Jets yesterday, was by their punter. He successfully completed a pass on a fake punt.

The Jets have a sub-par offensive line and that was a concern coming into the season and it proved to be right as Rodgers went down a few plays into the season.

But the quarterback is just awful. The worst that I have seen. They have a great defense and some phenomenal skill players on offense, but the play the QB position has held their team back.
