The New York Jets have reportedly agreed to a contract with QB Trevor Siemian, as per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.
Siemian will be added to the Jets practice squad pending he passes a physical. He previously played for the Denver Broncos, New Orleans Saints, Chicago Bears, and even spent one season with the Jets.
The 31 year-old Siemian played for the Bears last season and saw action in two games. His best season was with the Broncos in 2016. He started 14 games, while throwing for 3,401 yards and 18 touchdowns.
The Jets have serious issues at QB and this signing does nothing to help them.
