New England Patriots QB Mac Jones: Winning means more than stats

For those who might have had Mac Jones in your fantasy lineup on Monday night, he isn’t sorry.

Jones’ final stat line for the New England Patriots in a 14-10 win over the Buffalo Bills: 2-for-3, 19 yards.

Yep. That wasn’t in a drive. That was Jones for the entire game. The windy conditions were why Jones threw three passes in Buffalo.

Jones only had one thing concerning his thoughts; winning.

“It doesn’t matter how many times you run it or throw it, as long as you win, everyone’s gonna be happy,” the New England Patriots quarterback said.

He also said, “I’m just trying to win. It was good we scored more than the other team.”

A very Belichick-type answer. Mac Jones has the Patriots going in the right direction. At 9-4, the Patriots have the best record in the AFC East and in the conference.

Look out, the return of the Patriots is upon us.
