The Colts’ QB1, Matt Ryan, has plenty of experience being the leader in the offense during his 14 seasons as the starting quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons. Now, he’ll be looking to bring that same leadership to the Colts.
During the second week of OTAs, defensive tackle DeForest Buckner said Ryan ripped into the offensive players after a series of consecutive errors and mistakes during a walkthrough. It seems as if Matty Ice is already leading this team, because we all know he wants to win a Super Bowl, and so do the Colts.
Since signing Matty Ice, there’s been nothing but great comments about him from the Colt’s camp. Colts owner, Jim Irsay, has given the team’s new QB a lot of high-praise! Head Coach, Frank Reich, has also said that he is the leader that this team needs. It sounds like the Colts are happy and have found their QB.
The Colts are hoping to compete for a playoff spot and the top spot in the AFC South during the 2022 season with Ryan being a key factor in that endeavor. Matt Ryan could just be that key factor to get the Colts back to winning the AFC South, and possibly winning the AFC Conference. The Colts are hopeful!
