NC State Head Coach Dave Doeren Tells Former NFL Great To “Kiss His Ass”

The NC State Wolfpack upset Clemson 24-17 this afternoon. This comes a week after NC State lost by 21 points to Duke.

On ESPN College Game Day, celebrity guest picker and former NFL great WR Steve Smith Sr. selected Clemson to beat NC State during the pick em segment of the show. Smith said that NC State is waiting fo basketball to start while making his selection.

Apparently this got to NC State Head Coach Dave Doeren and had this message for Smith after the victory.

This was the 100th win of head coach Dave Doeren’s career, including his 77th at NC State, which matches the program record previously set by Earle Edwards in 1970.
