NBA Trade Rumors: Sacramento Kings no longer pursuing a trade for 76ers’ Ben Simmons

The Sacramento Kings have been known as one of the more aggressive teams on the trade market, and one of the known teams who wanted Ben Simmons.

That was, until now, as the Kings have reportedly pulled out of trade talks for Simmons.

Simmons has missed the entire season due to disagreements with the team and head coach Doc Rivers. The team has been trying to trade Simmons since the 2021 NBA Draft, but has been unsuccessful.

Several teams have had reported interest; the Atlanta Hawks and Detroit Pistons were a few to name, but haven’t made a move to try and acquire Simmons, who was coming off a terrible outing for the 76ers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals last year.

The NBA trade deadline is February 10.
