NBA Trade Rumors: Proposing a Lakers, Knicks trade swapping Julius Randle for Russell Westbrook

Some fans of the New York Knicks have been wondering if the team would be better off without Julius Randle. So if they believe that, this could be the possible trade for them.

Especially with the Los Angeles Lakers fan base who is desperate to trade Russell Westbrook out of town. This deal could solve both team’s issues.

With Westbrook’s massive salary, this trade would actually match up with Randle, Evan Fournier and Kevin Knox. It would also give Randle a chance to return to the team that initially drafted him when he came into the league.

Westbrook hasn’t quite fit with the Lakers since getting traded over the summer and some wonder if it’s a matter of time before he does get dealt. With Derrick Rose getting hurt, Westbrook could be a possible fit to go along with RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin, who are seen as the young core the Knicks have been building around.

Westbrook is a hard sell for some teams, but if the Knicks really want to shake things up, this could be a trade for both sides to consider.
