NBA Trade Rumors: Proposing a 3-team deal to send Damian Lillard to the Lakers, Russell Westbrook to the Pelicans

For right now, Damian Lillard isn’t being traded.

For now.

But that doesn’t mean we can’t stop trying to come up with good trade proposals that would let Lillard succeed outside of Portland, which Basketball Forever did.

Russell Westbrook quite hasn’t had the impact on the Lakers like everyone hoped for. Which is why the Lakers wouldn’t blink if they had a chance to get Damian Lillard to the Lakers.

If it means parting with Talen Horton Tucker to make the deal happen, for Lillard, you have to do it. It’s one thing if you don’t trade THT for Kyle Lowry. It’s another for Damian Lillard.

After Westbrook’s comments about winning a championship, if LeBron has any sense, he’s on the phone with Rob Pelinka trying to make this happen as soon as possible.
