NBA Trade Rumors: Knicks, Kings could trade Julius Randle for De’Aaron Fox

The New York Knicks could be looking to move Julius Randle before the trade deadline next week.

Randle’s tenure with the Knicks hasn’t gone quite the way everyone hoped after Randle agreed to a four-year contract extension and with the Knicks struggling to stay relevant and competent in 2022, Randle could be sent out.

One trade possibility is the Knicks sending Randle to the Sacramento Kings for De’Aaron Fox.

It’s unclear if draft picks are involved in this possible swap that has been discussed, but it would make sense for both sides to make the swap.

The Knicks are struggling to stay in the playoff race after being a surprise team in 2020 that made the postseason as the fourth seed. Part of that has been the decline in Randle and his play. Some thinks he’s mentally checked out of New York.

The NBA trade deadline is February 10.
