NBA forcing Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat to surrender second round picks over tampering of Lonzo Ball, Kyle Lowry.

Adam Silver dropped the hammer today on the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat.

When the Bulls pursued Lonzo Ball and the Heat did with Kyle Lowry, it violated the league’s tampering restrictions on when they were allowed to talk to players, thus, why the NBA is forcing both franchises to forfeit a second round draft pick and have imposed a fine to each franchise of $10 million.

Both the Heat and the Bulls released general statements that said they accepted the league’s decision and were moving on with the rest of their season, as both are two of the top teams currently in the Eastern Conference.
