Changes to be implemented into the 2020 All-Star Game include both teams playing for Chicago-based community organizations, each quarter starting with the score 0-0 with teams competing to win each quarter, and the team that wins the All-Star game will be the first team that reaches the Final Target Score. The Final Target Score will be determined by the total points the team in the lead scored in the first three quarters combined plus 24; in tribute to Kobe Bryant as it represents his final jersey number.
If you are a little confused, here’s a breakdown in the simplest of terms:

0-0 to start quarters 1, 2 and 3. $100,000 on the line each quarter.
Take those scores. Add them up to start the fourth.
Take the score that’s ahead at that time, add 24 to it.
First to hit that number wins the All-Star Game.
Just watch and enjoy.
Bryant, his 13-year old daughter Gianna, and seven others passed away in a helicopter crash this past Sunday. The NBA said that there will be multiple tributes for all victims throughout All-Star weekend, in addition to the fourth quarter target score change.
