MSU Is Dangerously Close To Being In The Tournament Bubble

Written by Jonathan Garner

These past few weeks have been very nerve racking for the spartan fans out there. Ever since they beat Michigan at the end of January, the team seems to be a little off. They have losses to Rutgers, Wisconsin, and Penn State while avoiding a very close loss to Maryland. MSU will be going up against Illinois, Iowa, and Purdue to finish off the season which is no easy task. But if I am an MSU fan I would need to put full trust into Tom Izzo and understand that he has everything under control (hopefully).

While they are still ranked as of right now, I would assume they will drop out of the top 25 this week. And with the tough road ahead of them, that is why I see them as a close bubble team. They need a strong finish to the regular season then make a run in the big ten tournament and you will see them ranked as a 6 seed at worst, but we will see how the season finishes off.
