Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes looked like his postseason would be over when he injured his right ankle in a brutal way in the first half on Saturday against the Jaguars.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter said: “MRI today confirmed that Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes suffered a high ankle sprain during Saturday’s win over the Jaguars, per league source. “Nothing more than that,” said one source, and Mahomes has said he plans to play in next Sunday’s AFC Championship Game.”

The Chiefs will likely shoot Mahomes’ ankle up with drugs for the game.
