The biggest European clubs have competed for this piece of silverware for over sixty-six years, with only 22 different teams ever tasting victory. This year’s event will be the 67th, and it’ll take place on the 28th of May. Tennis Majors

The most important tournaments in tennis that guarantee long crazy matches are known as “grand slam tournaments.” The men’s matches are played in a best-of-five format, and this gave us many amazing matches and even some breathtaking comebacks over the years. Also referred to as majors, they provide the most ranking points, public and media attention and prize money.

  • Australian Open

The year’s first grand slam tournament began on Monday, January 17. It takes place in Melbourne, Australia, specifically in Rod Laver Arena. This year, the Australian Open, which started with controversy as Novak Djokovic was deported before the tournament kicked off, ended with Rafael Nadal being crowned champion and winning a record 21st Grand Slam championship. The women’s tournament ended with Ashleigh Barty winning on her home court.

  • French Open

The French Open is the only clay court Major tournament, scheduled from May 22 to June 5. Night sessions were introduced to the tournament in 2021 in an effort to curb the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic. Rafael Nadal has already won 13 French Opens, and coming off an earth-shattering 21st Grand Slam win in Melbourne, he’ll be considered the favorite to win again this year.

  • Wimbledon

The oldest Grand Slam tournament, Wimbledon, will take place from June 27 to July 10 for the 135th time in 2022. Novak Djokovic and Ashleigh Barty won the men’s and women’s singles titles respectively in 2021, and it will be fascinating to see if they can defend their crowns.

  • US Open

The tournament this year promises to be as exciting as it has been over the past, with seven different champions being crowned in the past decade.

A million and two hundred thousand tickets were requested in the first twenty-four hours of ticket sales opening.
