Whether you are a WWE fan or not, “Miz and Mrs” is the perfect family comedy television that you can find on television today. Hands down, no questions asked, the Mizanin family is comedy gold.

I will say for me personality that documentary-style reality shows can often get pretty stale and very predictable, however Miz and Mrs takes the reality-show rulebook, tears it up, puts it into a dumpster, and sets that dumpster on fire. Every minute is chock-full of entertainment value, with Miz’s outrageous personality – brash, outspoken, charismatic but self-centered – truly feeling at home on reality TV. The humor can get a little sophomoric, but it only adds to the effect of how entertaining this show is.

Not only that, but the real life supporting characters you would assume were cast on the show. But the reality is, they’re actual family members who contribute immensely to the show. Miz’s father George is absolutely hysterical. He literally steals ever scene he is in. Mike’s Mom plays the perfect role of quiet, but maybe a bit judgmental with her eyes at times? And Maryse’s Mom, Marjo? She could literally have her own spinoff show. A duo of her and George in their own show would be fascinating.

For the first time ever, I actually feel invested in a reality show without questioning the fact that I enjoy watching a reality show. The only complaint that I have is the length of each episode being 30 minutes, and even that won’t stop me from giving this show a 10! I would genuinely appreciate this show being extended to 60 minute episodes. You know why? Because he’s The Miz, and he’s awesome!
