Minnesota Vikings to interview Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh for their head coaching job on Wednesday

The Minnesota Vikings are going all in for Jim Harbaugh to coach their team.

The 58-year-old Harbaugh, who is currently the head coach of Michigan, will fly in to interview on Wednesday with the Vikings for their head coaching job.

Harbaugh is currently under contract to Michigan, but earlier in the off-season, Harbaugh said he would entertain NFL coaching offers.

The New York Giants already hired Brian Daboll, the Chicago Bears also hired Matt Eberflus and the Las Vegas Raiders with Josh McDaniels; three jobs that Harbaugh might be interested in, but never interviewed for.

The Vikings are looking to replace Mike Zimmer, who was dismissed as the Vikings head coach after seven seasons. Along with Harbaugh, the Vikings also are bringing in Giants defensive coordinator Patrick Graham for a second interview for the job.
