Miles Sanders just completed the best season of his career. He ran for 1,269 yards on 259 carries and scored 11 touchdowns. Sanders was elected to his first Pro Bowl and helped lead the Eagles to the Super Bowl.
It was good timing for Sanders to have his best season as a running back in the NFL this year, as his rookie contract is complete. It’s believed that the Eagles from Sanders, unless he’s willing to take significantly less than his market value to stay in Philadelphia.
The 25-year-old RB took to his Instagram stories on Wednesday to send a direct message to the Eagles front office.
Sanders ran ran seven times for 16 yards in the Super Bowl loss and his production was easily replaced by Kenneth Gainwell throughout the postseason.
Sanders was selected by the Eagles in the second round of the 2019 draft out of Penn State.
