Eagles starting RB Miles Sanders has not practiced since playing in the preseason opener on Friday. It was first reported as leg soreness, but the Eagles official injury report states that he is dealing with a hamstring injury.
Sanders has missed 8 games over the last two years. He is a talented game breaking running back, who has been inconsistent at times. He is a vital part of the Eagles offense. The other RB’s, Kenny Gainwell and Boston Scott are situational running backs.
Sanders is scheduled to become a free agent in the off-season, so this is a very important year for him.
