The Miami Dolphins have found their next head coach.

Mike McDaniel, the San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator, will take the job as the Dolphins next head coach.

The 38-year-old has been with the 49ers since 2017 as run game coordinator. In 2021, he was promoted to become the offensive coordinator.

McDaniel once worked on a staff on the previous Washington Redskins with Sean McVay, Matt LaFleur and his former boss in San Francisco in Kyle Shanahan when they all worked for Mike Shanahan.

McDaniel is taking the reigns from Brian Flores, who was fired after three seasons and was dismissed after clashing with management.
