Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford is ready for the season to start. Last season might have ended early for him as he went down with a back injury, but before the injury he was leading the way in multiple categories.
Stafford is so ready for the season that he told former Lions WR Nate Burleson that he is going for MVP this season.
This comes after Peter Schrager on Good Morning Football picked Stafford as a dark horse MVP.

Stafford texted Nate saying “Tell your boy Schrager to forget the dark horse part…. I’m Going For The MVP!”
Tell me this doesn’t get you fired up!
Yesterday Detroit signed LT Taylor Decker to a long term deal and they’re expected to make Golladay a top paid WR over the next couple of days.
