Mason Riley Drops $250,000 Donation To The Barstool Fund To Help Save Small Businesses | @mrileytrades @stoolpresidente

In effort to help save small businesses and restaurants across the country, Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy and CNBC’s Marcus Lemonis have set up the Barstool Fund (which Portnoy has given out numerous donations as of lately).

Donations have been pouring left and right from personalities since it was set up, and it appears that Portnoy had a donation from someone whom he doesn’t know.

The recent donation came from a guy by the name of Mason Riley on Twitter. From his profile, Riley is a college dropout who is believed to be stock trader, who has traveled the world.

Riley’s profile says he has over 5,000 followers on Twitter, and the reason why he made the donation was due to being raised in a family of mom-and-pop restaurant owners and felt it was the right thing to do. He is also asking his fellow traders to do the same as well.

Even if most of us don’t know who Riley is, this donation to the Barstool Fund means a lot to those who are in dire need for any help.

Hopefully more people like Mason will follow suit and join in on contributing to the Fund. It will mean a lot to them, especially that it is days like today on Christmas Eve. The gift that keeps on giving is the thought that counts and that’s what happened here.
