Marcus Dumervil Commits to… The University of LSU?

Written by Will

National Signing Day is a huge step in a young man or woman’s life. It’s the biggest change where they get to move away from home, try to somewhat be responsible, and play for a scholarship for a university to eventually try and make it to the next level.

For Marcus Dumervil, a four-star offensive tackle from St. Thomas Aquinas Academy down in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, probably the biggest day of his life now in the spotlight, as he gave his formal commitment today. Let’s have a listen:

The University of Louisiana State University.

Ranked #65 on ESPN 300 for the class of 2020, Dumervil had a list of offers from every blue-chip program in college football, notably visiting “The University of LSU”, Louisville, Florida, and Oklahoma. He is the nephew of Elvis Dumervil, the five-time Pro Bowl defensive end who played with the Broncos, Ravens, and Niners. Congrats big guy – and here’s to a good career of protecting your QB from those tough SEC defenses.
