Louisville Wide Receiver Launched A Water Bottle At Kentucky Fans

Written by Tony Ghaul

A video posted on TikTok and Twitter appears to show a Louisville football player throwing a water bottle into the stands after the Cardinals lost to Kentucky on Saturday.

Louisville WR Chris Bell chucked a water bottle into the crowd behind the Cardinals bench. A real tough guy, he looked around to make sure the coast was clear (never mind the thousands of people looking his direction) and then heaved the bottle toward Kentucky fans who were enjoying the celebration in Lexington.

Louisville lost the Governor’s Cup for the fourth straight time thanks to two touchdowns from Kentucky QB Will Levis, 120 rushing yards from RB Chris Rodriguez and a career-high four field goals from Matt Ruffolo.

Louisville ends the season with a record of 7-5, which is also the same record as Kentucky.
