2022 has been an incredibly tough start for professional athletes. it seems like we are off to a record year of professional athletes passing away, much like it was in 2021. Last year saw a record number of deaths of professional athletes, and by the way things are looking so far, 2022 could easily surpass 2021.
Unfortunately, the most recent bad news comes from the NFL and more specifically the Los Angeles Rams organization.
According to reports, former wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams Billy Waddy passed away earlier this month.

In other Los Angeles Rams news, star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr has been recovering from the ACL tear he suffered during the Super Bowl earlier this month.
While it is not known if Beckham will be ready to start at the beginning of the 2022 season, because of his age, speculation has run rampant as to whether or not Beckham will finally call it quits and retire now that he finally has a Super Bowl ring. Beckham did however recently comment on the ACL injury that he sustained during the Super Bowl.
