Los Angeles Rams Sign And Release Wide Receiver Quickly; What’s Next For Odell Beckham Jr?

Written by Chris Powers

Odell Beckham Jr has had a busy last month. After being released by the Cleveland Browns after a relatively dismal few years there, Beckham was picked up by none other than the Los Angeles Rams last month where he signed a 1 year deal worth 4.25m dollars. Since then, the Rams have made moves at the wide receiver position when they waived J.J. Koenig who signed with the team back on November 3rd.

Beckham recently commented on his decision making process and why he chose the Rams. See what he had to say on the matter below.

“I took a lot of time in the decision-making and it wasn’t to build anticipation or nothing,” Beckham said. “This is my life, and I feel like I’ve been through a lot. And I’m at a point in my life where I’m ready to play football, and I’ve dedicated, scarified a lot be here. It just happened that this felt right in my heart, in my soul. … This is a tremendous team. 7-2, have a great opportunity to do some great things, and I just wanted to be a part of it.”
