WWE

Look Ahead to WrestleMania 36

Written by Colby Faria

WrestleMania season is upon us & with that comes the question as to what will the card look like come April. Let’s dive into it…

The 2020 Men’s Royal Rumble was won by Drew McIntyre, last month & the next night on Monday Night Raw, he announced that he will be challenging Brock Lesnar at the show of shows. The winner of the 2020 Women’s Royal Rumble was 10-time Women’s Champion, Charlotte Flair. She has yet to announce who she will be challenging in April, but as heavily teased, last night on Monday Night Raw, all signs point to her challenging NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley provided Ripley can get over on current challenger Bianca Belair in their match in 2 weeks at NXT Take-Over Portland. It’s also heavily rumored and reported that the WWE Universal Champion, Bray Wyatt will be headlining the show of shows against none other then Roman Reigns and while that match is far from being confirmed, all signs are pointing to that being the case.

Now, what else could be in store for us in Tampa Bay in 2 months time? Let’s put together an entire card!

I’ll try and stay away from the whole CM Punk dream match that everyone is hoping for and try to keep it as realistic as possible. WrestleMania 35 had 16 matches so we’ll keep it around that number for this as well.

Let’s get into it!

WWE Universal Championship – The Fiend (C) vs Roman Reigns

WWE Championship – Brock Lesnar (C) vs Drew McIntyre

RAW Women’s Championship – Becky Lynch (C) vs Shayna Baszler

SmackDown Women’s Championship – Bayley (C) vs Sasha Banks

NXT Women’s Championship – Rhea Ripley (C) vs Charlotte Flair

U.S. Championship – Andrade (C) vs Humberto Carrillo vs Angel Garza vs Rey Mysterio

Intercontinental Championship – Braun Strowman (C) vs Baron Corbin

RAW Tag Team Championships – Viking Raiders (C) vs Authors of Pain

SmackDown Tag Team Championships (Ladder Match) – New Day (C) vs The Uso’s vs Heavy Machinery vs The Miz & John Morrison

Street Fight – Randy Orton vs Edge

Singles Match – Kevin Owens vs Samoa Joe

Singles Match – Seth Rollins vs Buddy Murphy

Singles Match – Daniel Bryan vs Sheamus

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal – 30 participants

WrestleMania Women’s Battle Royal – 20 participants

I expect John Cena, Triple H and The Undertaker to all have matches this year as well, but it would be irresponsible to speculate as there aren’t any clear booking angles for them as they haven’t wrestled a match in some time as this was a realistic card prediction. But, we all hope to see those legends and many more at this year’s WrestleMania.

As always, thanks for reading and feel free to share your thoughts on this card and share your own on Twitter, @tvttedwhiteboy!
