Just when Detroit Lions fans thought their team was with the Draft in the third round this weekend, they all thought wrong.
The Lions traded back up to the third round to #96 overall with the Arizona Cardinals and selected Western Kentucky defensive tackle Brodric Martin.
The former Hilltopper comes to Detroit with the defensive line that was looking to continue bulking up to help stop the run for their bottom-ranked defense.
With his sheer size and length, Martin will fit right in the Lions interior line as he’ll rotate in with the likes of Alim McNeil, Benito Jones, Isaiah Buggs, and John Cominsky.
