The NFL players via the NFL Network has started to unveil the top 100 players entering the 2021 season and one notable Detroit Lions player makes his debut on the list.
Via Twitter, the NFL players have listed Lions tight end TJ Hockenson as the #93 player on the countdown. He is ranked in between Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry (#94) and Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce (#92).
Lions fans were happy that he made the list, but some felt he should’ve been higher.
Lions fans will take into account that TJ will be in his third season and coming to his own, but this ranking feels a bit low based on where he ended up on overall tight end rankings.
At least he made the list? Could expect one Lions player to make this list. Just feel it’s more like the Pro Bowl, a player popularity contest of some sorts.
Perhaps TJ could use this motivation to be better with his new quarterback in Jared Goff.
