After yet another heartbreaking last-second 19-17 loss to division rival Minnesota Vikings, first-year head coach Dan Campbell was feeling emotional after that game.
In the video by Dov Kleiman as he was trying to fight back tears, Campbell said he really wanted to win the game for his players and organization.
Lions and other football fans have to really feel for coach Campbell here, and it shown in his support for him on Twitter in Kleiman’s and Ari Meirov’s tweets.
Well, considering how close most of their losses were this season, including the recent loss against Minnesota, it shows that Campbell is actually doing well and cares about the team especially with how untalented the Lions are.
Just like what those fans said above, you do have to relate to Campbell in this situation. Though they’re 0-5 currently, it is a big belief that Detroit has found their coach to help guide them in this rebuild. Let’s hope that emotion can churn into future on-field success.
