Just a day after being released by the Washington Redskins, linebacker Mason Foster is also reportedly being sued by a fan for posting a threat to him over social media.
According to Shed Sports on Twitter, an unnamed Redskins fan made a remark towards Foster back in April about how the fanbase dislikes or doesn’t respect them, which later would engage in a Twitter fight to Foster putting out threats to the fan.
Here is the full exchange below captured by Shed Sports.
According to my sources, Redskins LB Mason Foster is being sued for threatening a fan, and as a result has been cut by the #Redskins. Foster has since deactivated his twitter account. pic.twitter.com/198F514du6

The threats on Twitter have landed a lawsuit by the same fan and his lawyer on regards to what they call, ‘a violation the Virginia Computer Crimes Act (VCCA).’

It is believed that Foster has deactivated his Twitter since the exchange. But we could say that this may go down as a violation of NFL’s Personal Conduct Policy.
