The San Francisco 49ers did beat the Philadelphia Eagles 42-19 on Sunday to drop them to 10-2 on the season.
The 49ers are a really good team and they put up an amazing performance on Sunday, but this statement by a player who got owned all day, is just ridiculous.
49ers DE Nick Bosa believes the team provided the Dallas Cowboys with tape on how to slow down Eagles QB Jalen Hurts.
“We made Jalen stay in the pocket and escape outside instead of those B gaps,” Bosa told reporters. “And it paid off. … Jalen is looking at the rush every play. You just have to be disciplined and not give him that quick escape route where he can get to his guys quick.”
He added: “Obviously, we put the blueprint out there. Hopefully, the Cowboys watch the tape.”
This is coming from a guy who got his lunch handed to him all day by Eagles RT Lane Johnson.
Hurts did not have a good game. That was the case for nearly all of the Eagles on Sunday, but his statement is ridiculous.
Hurts finished the game with 318 total yards and two touchdowns. His 57.7% completion percentage was his worst in a single game this season, but this happens. Quarterbacks can have bad games.
Nick, your team won, but you got owned on Sunday. It seems like the 49ers and Cowboys love to run their mouths.
